Welcome to my website. My name is Vern Dahnke, and I have been restoring automobiles since 1989. I began my trade as a hobbyist, and helped establish an auto body shop in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, where I gained my bodyman shop experience. From there, I moved to Oregon in 1993, where I became a head bodyshop painter for several shops and dealerships. I ventured on my own in 1996, establishing Dahnke Autobody in Newberg, Oregon. I eventually outgrew that location and moved to my current shop in Mulino, Oregon on Oct. 1, 2009.
The experience I gained from so many avenues taught me many different skills.

Since 1989, I have repaired hundreds of automobiles. I personally have stripped to bare metal and completely bodyworked and refinished more than 60 cars that get shown and have won many trophies, including Best of Show winners, Concours d' Elegance winners and
